About

Founded in 2022, Nicholas Social Welfare Society (NSWS) is a Not for Profit NGO drawn from the inspiration of Stephen Anurag and his partner Shaun Dsouza's grandfather (late) Mr Nicholas D'Souza, first chairperson of Chikamagalur Town Planning Authority in Karnataka, India. This organization aims to cherish the values of Dr Ambedkar, Gandhi, Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther King Jr, Mother Theresa and other social work activists who led community development initiatives for the marginalised, minorities and the down-trodden communities.

Currently, NSWS focusses on advocating United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through local partnerships in promoting mental health well-being and charity services to the marginalised youth, women and student communities in the rural and semi-urban areas.
